The plot of the movie is very simple. It tells the story of two British soldiers who are sent across the battlefield in April 1917 to deliver an important piece of information to a friendly army.
The visual effect of the movie is superb, the director skillfully used the “one shot to the end” filming technique, which makes the audience feel as if they were in the battlefield, and feel the cruelty and relentlessness of the war.
The whole movie seems to be a long shot to complete, in fact, dozens of hidden editing points, are to block, black screen and other ways to “cover”, but the final effect presented on the screen, is up to 119 minutes, very smooth long shot.
