Based on David Morrell’s 1972 novel of the same name, the movie follows the conflict between John Rambo, a Vietnam veteran, and a small-town cop.
Rambo, a lone veteran on a quest to find his old war buddies, clashes with a small town’s sheriff, which leads to a fierce manhunt.
One of the core themes of the movie is anti-war.
