Monty Python and the Holy Grail

A highly distinctive comedy film that impresses audiences with its nonsensical style, absurd plot, funny dialog and unexpected laughs. The plot of the film is based on the medieval legend of King Arthur of England, which tells the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, who accept God’s will to go in search of the Holy Grail, and thus experience a series of absurd and unimaginable events.

Armed with servants who crack coconuts, King Arthur (Graham Chapman) pretends to ride in search of knights and castles, seeing all the sights of the people along the way, interacting with a variety of cockamamie populace, and eventually recruiting a group of Knights of the Round Table.

Together, they pretend to ride to the castle of Camelot, and outside the castle, they meet God emerging from the sky, asking them to find the Holy Grail.

They try to capture a French castle with the “Book of the Wooden Badger”, but forget to hide in the wooden badger and are eventually defeated by the French.

After the failure of King Arthur and the knights began to split action, the task of finding the Holy Grail is very significant, more unreliable people and things all the way to wait for this group of unreliable knights …… This film is the only one into the IMDB top 50 ranking of the “nonsensical” movie.

The six core members of Monty Python played 4-10 roles each, taking on most of the roles in the movie.
