The second installment of Sergio Leone’s Dartman Trilogy follows two bounty hunters as they work together to hunt down a wanted man, one to avenge his sister’s death and the other for the bounty. The vicious wanted man has assembled a group of outlaws intent on robbing a bank, and the two bounty hunters decide to work together, devise a scheme, and team up to take out the enemy.

Indio (GianMaria Volonté), a vicious and wanted criminal who has committed repeated crimes with his gang, has a pocket watch that he looks at before each killing spree, which has a picture of a woman on it.
Bounty hunter Manco (Clint Eastwood) is after Indio, while another bounty hunter, Colonel Douglas Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef), is after the same target.
Both men initially look at each other with disdain before deciding to hunt Indio together.
When they learn that Indio is planning to rob a bank, they set up a scheme to get Monco to join Indio’s team, and then they work together with Mortimer later on.
Later, the two men are caught by Indio.
