White Lady and Xu Xian is an ancient Chinese love story about a man and a demon, one of the Four Great Legends of Chinese Folklore, which tells the tragic love story of White Lady, a snake demon, who falls in love with her husband, Xu Xian, but is thwarted by the monk Fa Hai.
