The movie shows the complex family relationships between three generations through delicate emotional depictions.
Sadiq is a left-wing journalist who is deeply estranged from his father because of his political views. On the day of the 1980 military coup in Turkey, he not only lost his beloved wife, but was also forced to be separated from his newborn son and suffered a lot in prison.
After his release from prison, Sadiq sets out on a journey home with a very sick body, trying to repair his relationship with his father and at the same time allow his son to bond with his grandfather.

Sadik (Fikret Kuskan), an anarchist journalist, dies of blood loss on the day of a military coup when he is unable to get his laboring wife to the hospital in time.
He was sent to prison to be tortured just after his son Deniz was born.
After his release from prison, Sadik’s new life does not last long, and he returns to his parents’ house, from which he has long since severed ties, with a secret for the sake of his son.
The father, Huseyin (Çetin Tekindor), is unable to forgive Sadik for not listening to him when he was studying agriculture.
The mother tries her best to repair the relationship between father and son.
Just when the family is getting closer and closer, Sadik’s secret comes as a bolt from the blue and shatters the peace of their lives.
