The film’s director, Guy Ritchie, claims that Stolen Diamonds is not a sequel to Two Smoking Guns, but the two films are very similar, with much of the same cast, and both are known for their dynamic directorial direction, bright pacing and editing styles, and intricate multi-stranded narratives.
The plot of the movie has two story lines: one about the search for stolen diamonds and the other about a fake fight controlled by the underworld, each of which has its own separate character and plot, but ultimately intertwines skillfully.
