Plot Summary:
Yuen Ho Wan (Chow Yun Fat) is a police detective, upright but hot-headed.
When his best friend is killed in an operation to catch bandits, he becomes even more eager to take revenge.
Yuen is working on a case involving an illegal arms syndicate, but in order for the case to go smoothly, Yuen’s superior decides to take him off the case.
At the same time, Yuan’s girlfriend also left him and developed feelings for his enemy.
