A monster movie with a Korean twist, it tells the story of a monster that mutates from a toxic substance in the Han River, attacks the citizens, takes a little girl, and her family fights the monster and the government to save her.
The movie spends a great deal of time on another monster, which not only doesn’t deal with the pollution of the Han River properly, but also discharges a large amount of highly toxic agents into the Han River, leading to the birth of the monster. After the monster appears, it tries to hide the truth, even lying to the citizens, saying that the monster carries a lethal virus, and demanding that all witnesses undergo a quarantine, and it also utilizes chemical weapons to exterminate the monster without regard to its impact on the environment and the people. It is even more cruel and ruthless than the monster, which not only threatens people’s safety and health, but also deprives them of their freedom and dignity.
