Italian-born ex-champion Jack La Motta is a strong and agile boxer, known as the “Raging Bull” in the boxing world. Due to his unwillingness to bow down to the mafia, he has never been able to qualify for the championship challenge, and after several setbacks, he finally agrees to the mafia’s arrangement to deliberately lose a match in exchange for the qualification to challenge the champion, a compromise that allows him to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a boxing champion. This compromise allows him to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a boxing champion, he ends up failing because of his violent and self-destructive personality.

Jake La Motta (Robert DeNiro) was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Having trained as a boxer since he was a child, Jake quickly rose to prominence in the boxing world, becoming known as “Raging Bull” for his quick punches and relentless strikes that resembled a bull in a fight.
Despite his outstanding performance, Jack was never able to challenge for the gold belt because he was a straight shooter and refused to give in to the mafia’s arrangement.
After many disappointments, Jack finally yielded to the mafia and listened to the arrangement to lose a match.
Jack then challenged for the title as he wished and was crowned.
After being crowned, Jack not only did not experience the expected excitement, but also saw through all the shady practices in the boxing world and decided to quit.
