The film tells the story of a former superhero, Birdman, who tries to revitalize his career by writing, directing and acting in a Broadway play.
The protagonist, a former superhero actor, longs to prove his worth through serious artistic endeavors, but deep down he can’t get rid of his desire for public recognition, and he becomes a complex character struggling between fame and self-doubt.
One of the most striking features of the film is its 100-minute-long pseudo one-shot shooting technique, which creates a sense of continuity and tension through long, uninterrupted shots, making the audience feel as if they were in the scene of the story, and the excellent digital processing makes the audience almost unaware of the camera switches, which further enhances the film’s sense of immersion.

Plot Synopsis:
Long past his prime, Reagan Thomson (Michael Keaton) was once a popular Hollywood movie star who made the superhero Birdman a household name.
Now that the glory has become a thing of the past, Reagan, who is not willing to be left alone, has turned to Broadway in an attempt to regain attention and respect by adapting Raymond Carver’s “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love”.
Inevitably, the reality is always too big a gap with the ideal, the cast and crew funding is tight, the bad actor was hit in the head by the lamp, just out of rehab daughter Sammy (EmmaStone EmmaStone ornaments), poisonous theater reviewer arrows in the strings waiting to be fired, in addition to save the scene to Hollywood’s popular boy Mike Shannon (Edward Norton Edward Norton ornaments) misbehaved openly, and repeatedly tainted with the usurpation of the the drama that Reagan has so painstakingly crafted.
